Welcome to the Town of Hartford, Wisconsin Website.

The Town of Hartford is located northwest of Milwaukee, Wisconsin in Washington County.  The Town of Hartford and her 3,989 residents surround the city of Hartford and also is home to beautiful Pike Lake.

The town hall is located 1/4 mile south of the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway K at 3360 Highway K.  Our office hours are Monday's from 9 a.m. to Noon, and Wednesday's from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. We can be contacted at 262-673-7214.  Watch this page for special events and information as well as emergency information such as road closures and lake level warnings.

Please attend our board meetings on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7pm.

The Town of Hartford is seeking (2) residents to fill (2) vacant seats on the Board of Appeals.  Please contact Marvin Justman at (262)673-7214 for job description and compenation.


The Town of Hartford Police Department will again be hosting a WIDNR Boating Safety Course.  The dates are July 7-10 from 6pm to 9 pm.  Anyone born after January 1, 1989, and at least 16 years of age must have completed a boating safety course that is accepted by the Wisconsin DNR.   Follow this lnk to register: Boating Safety Course Registration
